Work, work, work

Big things are in the works my babies.

And no I don’t just mean the cornbread that is in the oven and is going to be heavenly with some tomato soup tomorrow.

Working on some side projects that I’m very excited about. When I describe it to the select few they squeee in excitement.

It is that good.

It will require lots of work, it will stretch my skills in un-travelled areas, it will hopefully further cement me in to the heart of Nashville.

While I love making linocuts. Sitting into front of one of my cheesy musicals on dvd and cutting and cutting till there are tiny bits of lino EVERYWHERE. I’m pretty sure I’ll never be as elegant and masterful as these people. Good granny they are amazing!!!

You know you’re a designer when you describe the paint color you’re going for in your bedroom as 50% grey.

in another note, to every single person (and its probably all of you) who think my bedroom is painted light blue…it was supposed to be grey, medium/light grey…unfortunately a “cool grey” just meant straight up light blue. Figures.
